BONƧAI, a Short Film.
First Version of the BONƧAI Story.
My Final Year Project during my diploma.

This particular story holds a special place in my creative journey as it was crafted through deep contemplation. It was a mixture of philosophy (existentialism) and psychology, which happens to be one of my favorite subject. It's worth noting that several iterations and different stories were explored before arriving at this narrative. Unfortunately the symbolism embedded within are not evident to the audience, and it was critique as "Lazy" due to how simple the storyboard was. Thus, I created two alternate versions for the audience which I refused to showcase here. Regrettably, it went down the drain. Some might wonder why I don't continue with this initial version. In truth, this piece carries a certain weight for me, having been the result of a solitary two-year endeavor on the BONƧAI project. Working in isolation brought its challenges, and the process became, in a way, a source of personal trauma.

BONƧAI isn't just a story... it represents my journey. Despite the downfall, it's an important piece in my portfolio.
