The Mourner Concept

Forcing myself pass through "Artist Block" by allowing my hand to freely sketch ~circles~ without a predetermined goal. Surprisingly, as the circles took shape, a narrative began to unfold in my mind. "It has to hold on to something," I thought, even though these random sketches typically end up discarded. Anyways, this is "The Mourner", a mysterious NPC with Gastroschisis or jokingly saying; "GUCCI Intestine" as it's considered a fashion trend status in the world she lives in. The Mourner is likely a ghost, she visits to a player's death point or corpse and leaving behind a red rose that grants a minor buff for the player's advantage. While I don't have plans to develop an entire world for her, I find joy in the spontaneity of creating characters and stories like her.
